Mount Damavand, is highest peak in Iran. This peak is located in the Alborz Mountains, in Mazandaran province of Iran. Its height is 5670 meters.
This is a beautiful picture of the majestic peak of Damavand from the Polour region. For us Iranians, the beautiful peak of Damavand is a symbol of resistance and perseverance. We refer to it as glory, majesty, and authority in Iran.
For this photo, I used my Hasselblad 500 C/M camera and Carl Zeiss Sonnar 80/f2.8 CF lens. The lens was set at a hyperfocal distance, and the image recorded, with aperture 22 and shutter speed 1/15 seconds on Fuji Velvia 50 roll film.
