Damavand Peak on a snowy day
Picture ID: 30624 - Order
Mount Damavand, is highest peak in Iran. This peak is located in the Alborz Mountains, in Mazandaran province of Iran. Its height is 5670 meters.
On a cold snowy day, we set off from the Larijan region with a few friends towards Mount Damavand. It was very cold and windy. I used a 180mm telephoto lens for this shot so I could show the wind blowing and the snow scattering on the peak.
For this photo, I used my Hasselblad 500 C/M camera and Carl Zeiss Sonnar 180/f4 CF lens. The lens was set at a hyperfocal distance, and the image recorded, with aperture 22 and shutter speed 1/60 seconds on Fuji Velvia 50 roll film.
