The beautiful river and trees of Darabad Valley on a snowy day

The Darabad river in the northeast of Tehran originate from the Tochal ridge mountain. Around the river due to high humidity, in the past was a place full of natural trees. Darabad means a place full of trees. The height of Darabad River, is approximately 1700m at the beginning of the route, and at the peak of 3160 meters.

This is a picture of the Darabad Valley I took a few years ago. It had snowed heavily the night before and it was still snowing when I went there in the morning. The Darabad River and Valley is a long trail with many excellent subjects for photography. I used the Panoral 45 camera and in most cases I used tilt to capture more detail in the foreground.

I used the Panoral 45 camera and Schneider Super Angulon 90/5.6 lens. The image recorded, with aperture 22 and shutter speed 1/4 seconds on Ilford FP4 4x5in sheet film. I used Hoya red filter.
