Mazandaran Province is one of the most densely populated provinces in Iran and has diverse natural resources, notably large reservoirs of oil and natural gas. The diverse nature of the province features plains, prairies, forests and rainforest stretching from the sandy beaches of the Caspian Sea to the rugged and snowcapped Alborz sierra, including Mount Damavand, one of the highest peaks and volcanos in Asia.
This is a picture of a beautiful lake near the city of Ramsar in Mazandaran Province. There was rainy and very pleasant weather in this mountainous region. I went from the interior of the forest to near this lake. The weather was very changeable due to a lot of lightning and heavy rain. I used an ND filter to blur the water surface a bit, which is why I set the exposure time to 30 seconds. At this time, several lightning flashes occurred in the sky. One of them is recorded in the upper left corner. However, due to the bright light in the sky, it requires zooming in to see it. The trees have moved due to the wind, which is slightly blurred in the image.
I used Schneider Super Angulon 90/5.6 on Panoral 45 camera and mount two Kenko 8X ND filter(6 stops) on it., then shoot by 30sec at f22 on Ilford FP4 PLUS 4x5in sheet film.
