Zanjan is located in region where is bounded on the north by city Tarom and Khalkhal and Mianeh, and from east to Soltanieh and Tarom and from south to Khodabande and Ijrud and the West Mahneshan city, and is 1663 meters above sea level.
Zanjan is known for its beautiful handcrafts such as knives, traditional sandals, called charoogh, and malileh, a handcraft made with silver wires. The city is a turkish region of Iran. Turkish is the dominant language in the city.
Selecting a subject for panoramic images is usually more difficult than other subjects. And with respect to the using of wide-angle lens, it is more difficult. The combination should be effective, to be interesting for the viewer. The image perhaps not be in accordance with the rules of composition. But the components of the image, placed into beauty. In my opinion these images have beautiful components.
This part of the rocks included a gentle slope. However, I got the my camera level with the horizon. Clouds, thanks to the red filter looks quite dreamy. And this is a very important issue for me. Due to the using of 67mm red filter and IIIC center filter on the 75 mm lens, created shadows in the corners of the image in small quantities. Because the image circle of 75 mm lens was small, this issue occurred. So I was compelled to re-frame the image a little.
This image is part of a series of images from in Zanjan. For this photo, I used Schneider Super Angulon 75/5.6 on Panoral 617 camera and got attached a hoya red filter and Schneider IIIC center filter on the lens, then shoot by 1/2sec at f22 on Kodak Tmax 100, 120 roll film.
