Poppy flowers in the plains of Kurdistan

Kurdistan province, located in the west of Iran. The province is located on the slopes and plains of central Zagros mountain range. Center of this province is the city of Sanandaj. This mountainous region, has a cold winter, but in spring is the lush.

This is another photo of the plains full of flowers in Kurdistan province. Although this photo was taken a few years ago, I still enjoy seeing it. The reproduction of color and contrast, as well as the capture of details in this photo, is very impressive thanks to the Fuji Velvia 50 slide film.

For this photo, I used Carl Zeiss Distagon 50/4 CFi lens on Hasselblad 500 C/M. The image was recorded by 1/15 sec at f22 on Fuji Velvia 50, 6x6 120 roll film.
