Beautiful spring in Karaj

Karaj is the capital of Alborz Province, Iran. It is situated 20 kilometres west of Tehran, at the foothills of the Alborz mountains. The city has effectively become an extension of metropolitan Tehran. The city is surrounded by mountains which give it great landscapes.

There are many fruit trees around the city of Karaj. Most of them have personal property. And some of them built beautiful villas. This image corresponds to one of the gardens, which is owned by my friend. He is very interested in nature.

He invited me on a spring holiday. I already knew that he had a beautiful garden. So I went there with full equipment. I took a lot of photos of him, his family and his mansion. I also shot photos of outer space. For this photo, I used Schneider Super Angulon 90/5.6 on Panoral 45 camera by 1/8sec at f22 on Kodak E100VS 4x5in film. I put the center filter IIIC by hand in front of the lens
