Spring in Karaj gardens

Karaj is the capital of Alborz Province, Iran. It is situated 20 kilometres west of Tehran, at the foothills of the Alborz mountains. The city has effectively become an extension of metropolitan Tehran. The city is surrounded by mountains which give it great landscapes.

Karaj has a very pleasant climate in all four seasons. It is very famous for the natural attractions. The stunning Alborz Mountainrange provide a natural beauty to the landscape of Karaj. Karaj is also the starting point for a pleasant drive along spectacular Chalus road forced north through the Alborz mountain to the Caspian Sea.

The above image is the result of a day trip to the garden of my friend on a spring day. The weather was quite cool and pleasant, and the garden full of trees blossom. For this photo, I did downward camera tilt. Then, I tilt the film plane backwards, to adjust the focus accurately. I used Nikkor-W 150/5.6 on Toyo Field 45A camera by 1/15sec at f22 on Kodak E100VS 4x5in film.
