Damavand peak from Lar plain
Picture ID: 30592 - Order
Mount Damavand, is highest peak in Iran. This peak is located in the Alborz Mountains, in Mazandaran province of Iran. Its height is 5670 meters.
This image was shooted from the Lar plain area. Because the Lar Plain is a protected area of the Environmental Organization, it is usually difficult to travel to this area in the spring. But it is possible to travel in early summer. But unfortunately, the freshness of spring cannot be seen in summer.
For this photo, I used my Hasselblad 500 C/M camera and Carl Zeiss Sonnar 180/f4 CF lens. The lens was set at a hyperfocal distance, and the image recorded, with aperture 22 and shutter speed 1/4 seconds on Fuji Velvia 50 roll film.
