Picture ID: 30519 - Order
Mount Damavand, is highest peak in Iran. It is also the tallest volcanic peaks in Asia. This peak is located in the Alborz Mountains, in Mazandaran province of Iran. It is the symbol of Iranian resistance against despotism and foreign rule in persian poetry and literature. Its height is 5670 meters. To reach near the peak, I went Rineh road, a dirt road, to the hillside. To record this picture, I waited a few hours. Until the sun be placed the best lighting conditions. Thereby, it is a reminder for the viewer feel volcanic peaks. Then, I used from Schneider Apo-Symmar 210/5.6 lens on the Panoral 45 camera, by shutter speed 1/2 sec and aperture 16 on 120 roll Fuji Velvia 50 film in 6x6 format.
