Clouds and stones in Zanjan

Zanjan is the capital of Zanjan Province in northwestern Iran. It is 298 km north-west of Tehran on the main highway to Tabriz and Turkey and approximately 125 km from the Caspian Sea. Zanjan is known for its beautiful handcrafts such as knives, traditional sandals, called charoogh, and malileh, a handcraft made with silver wires.

This is a picture of a good composition in the rocks around Zanjan. I like this image because the detail and texture of the stones are clearly visible. Although the clouds in the sky sometimes block the sunlight, the details and contrast are clearly visible. I used a red filter to make the clouds in the background more visible.

For this photo, I used Schneider Super Angulon 90/5.6 on Panoral 45 camera and got attached a Bronica SR60.2C (R1) red filter on the lens, then shoot by 1/15sec at f22 on Ilford FP4 PLUS 4x5in sheet film.
