The texture of Karaj rocks

Karaj is the capital of Alborz Province, Iran. It is situated 20 kilometres west of Tehran, at the foothills of the Alborz mountains. The city has effectively become an extension of metropolitan Tehran. The city is surrounded by mountains which give it great landscapes.

This is another picture of rocky cliffs in Karaj. Inclined light in the morning has been able to clearly show the texture of the rock. I tried to intensify the effect of a wide lens by shortening the tripod and moving closer to the rock.

For this photo, I used Schneider Super Angulon 90/5.6 on Panoral 45 camera and then shoot by 1/15sec at f22 on Ilford FP4 4x5in sheet film.
