Karaj beautiful rocks

Karaj is the capital of Alborz Province, Iran. It is situated 20 kilometres west of Tehran, at the foothills of the Alborz mountains. The city has effectively become an extension of metropolitan Tehran. The city is surrounded by mountains which give it great landscapes.

This area is a subway between Tehran and Karaj. The mountains in this area have beautiful rocks. I walked a little bit from the main road. The sun was fresh and the light and shadows were beautiful. To get a beautiful composition, I got close to the cliff. I mounted the camera on a tripod and focus on the subject. I slightly tilt the lens to increase depth of field.

For this photo, I used Schneider Symmar-S 150/5.6 on Panoral 45 camera and then shoot by 1/15sec at f22 on Ilford FP4 4x5in sheet film.
