The Darabad river in the northeast of Tehran originate from the Tochal ridge mountain. Around the river due to high humidity, in the past was a place full of natural trees. Darabad means a place full of trees. The height of Darabad River, is approximately 1700m at the beginning of the route, and at the peak of 3160 meters.

After an hour's walk in Darabad Mountains, we reach an almost flat area. There are rocks in this area, although they are not attractive in terms of form, but can be used as a background for mountain views. Inside the Darabad mountains, there is a deep valley called Darabad valley. This valley is located between the mountain on the right, which is covered with snow and the left mountain. The mountain on the left is part of the Kolakchal peak.

For this image I was placed near the rocks. I used the Toyo Field 45A camera and Schneider Super Angulon 90/5.6 lens. I focused the camera on the mountain, and then tilt lens on the foreground cliffs. I used the Hoya red filter, but it was not effective due semi-cloudy sky. I waited a little until the sun came out of the cloud. The image recorded, with aperture 22 and shutter speed 1/2 seconds on Ilford FP4 4x5in sheet film.
