The beautiful peak of Damavand at dawn

Mount Damavand, is highest peak in Iran. This peak is located in the Alborz Mountains, in Mazandaran province of Iran. Its height is 5670 meters.

Damavand peak is known as a symbol of endurance in Iran. The beauty of this volcanic peak can be seen from far away even from Tehran. To see this peak, you can go to its range from different places. For this image I went from Polour area to that area. The cool morning air and vegetation created this beautiful area. Although there was a little mist in the morning in the area, the beautiful peak of Damavand can still be seen beautifully in the morning light.

For this photo, I used Schneider Symmar-S 150/5.6 on Panoral 45 camera, I tilted the camera slightly to help focus the foreground. Then shoot by 1/15sec at f22 on Kodak E100-VS 4x5in sheet film.
