Arjomand is a village in Tehran province of Iran. The Arjomand village is located in the city functions Firuzkuh. If you leave a small amount of Arjomand village, you reach the village Lazoor. Along the way about 13 km, there are pristine natural areas. This area includes meadow, rivers and big rocks on the hillside.
This image is one of the pictures of the Arjmand village. This village has always been fascinating for me. Perhaps due to the changing climate and plant texture and mountainous environment. This lake is part of the new dam built in the Arjomand village.
For this image I used Schneider Super Angulon 75/5.6 lens. The clouds were moving and the sun was sometimes hidden behind the clouds. I was placed at the right place to create a reflection of the sun on the water. I tilt the lens about 2.5 degrees forward. And the image was completely focused from foreground to background.
I remember, I had only 2 frames for shooting. I also considered another composition from another angle. But I did not want to lose this composition. So I waited until the sun be in the proper position. Light metering was a bit of a problem. I did not imagine, the radiation of the sun, recorded on the film. And my main goal was to reflect on the water. But after developing the negative, and seeing the result, I got really amazing.
I used Schneider Super Angulon 75/5.6 lens on Panoral 45 camera by 1/15sec at f22 on Ilford FP4 Plus 4x5in sheet film.
